POWERMAX.COM/THE MAC STORE – 2007-2008 – Role: Multi-Role

My primary role at PowerMax consisted of inventorying a large volume of Apple hardware of varying and questionable condition. I was tasked with triaging al machines for hardware issues, repairing them, testing them for functionality, imag- ing them, cleaning and polishing said units, and preparing them for resale. At the same time, I was tasked with covering for a lack of certified technicians within the company’s larger whole (The Mac Store). I was frequently dispatched to Seat- tle, WA and Eugene, OR for extended periods, in order to complete repairs in the store’s local service departments in order to minimize backlog. As the company’s needs evolved, I transitioned to one of their retail stores in order to support walk in service customers, intake machines for service, confirm repair of machines once returned to the storefront, and to contact customers for pick up of repaired machines. Similarly, I was tasked with general sales and support of the overall customer base of my location.
