For two months, I was contracted by OpenSignal as adjunct to the IT team. They had received a sizable donation of technology including MacBook Pro’s monitors, rack mounted hardware, and accessories. All of this required inventorying, storage, and technical refurbishment. In the case of the MacBook Pro’s there were over two hundred of various generation, all of which required hardware diagnostics, some repair, erasure, and factory reset, in order to bring them into a condition that was ready for sale and or donation. Over the course of this two months, all machines were addressed, processed, inventoried, cleaned, and imaged. During this time, I consulted on multiple technical topics relating to wifi, networking, and tertiary technologies including audio, video, 3D printing, as well as user support.
